Wood Shake shingle treatment

Within five years of having new wood shakes installed it is very beneficial to treat the wood shingles with boiled linseed oil and Thompson's water seal. This helps to retain the moisture in the wood that allows the wood shingle to last longer than just leaving the wood shingles to the elements. We make sure the shake treatment does not harm any plants or stain any exterior finish.
